Cleaning up seems to be catching on. Reverse graffiti, the process of cleaning dirt, debris and soot from public tunnels
and walls to create a new form a graffiti has really grabbed a strong foothold. The original brain-child of British graffiti artist known as Moose, others have been quick to grab their shoe brushes and cleaning supplies to create some work of their own.
Ridiculously, this city clean up is still considered a crime. I think it's an interesting twist on the general public's perception of graffiti and it certainly "reverses" all opposition to public displays of art. It's refacing not defacing. How many times have we heard the graffiti opposition "We need to keep our city clean"? In this case, if you keep your city clean, you can avoid it. Some of these pieces wash away years and years of grime... to get rid of it, clean the rest of the surface.
Let's get cleaning.
No, I'm not talking about the iPhone again. This time it’s the Dubai based real estate developer Omniyat Properties and architects James Law Cybertecture Properties who plan to construct a 26 story luxury residential tower modeled after the Apple iPod.
Atrociously names the iPad, the building will sit over a six-degree-angled "docking station," just like the music player. Apparently these guys missed the Madtv parody.
We've got a lot of good things going on around the office lately that has been keeping all of us super busy. You may or may not have noticed by now but as of last week, we have updated and redesigned our MySpace page. Although the MySpace page is still a work in progress, I think the new layout is pretty sweet (if I can say so myself). The section called "Get Your Story on the Label" will be expanded and you can submit your personal travel story for a chance to be on the label of one of our products. In addition, we will be giving away a monthly product prize for the travel story we like the most. Go ahead, send us something.... and by adding us to your friends, you will be eligible to receive special discounts and offers not available anywhere else.
In addition, we are working to completely update and revamp our website. We will be adding the new hair products and making the site much more user friendly and interactive. I can't wait.
On the table right now, we have listened to what you have said and we are re-packaging a few of our products into better packaging and March 1st, we will be releasing our new Great Lakes Shave Cream. That's right,, the much anticipated Shave Cream will finally be available. Our shave cream is an oil free formula that's good for all skin types. Its designed to soften the hair and provide a close, clean shave without irritation. It has an invigorating rosemary mint aroma athat rinses clean and forms a comfort barrier between the razor and the skin, reducing skin drag.
We were also a sponsor at this past weekends Winter Xgames - if you were there and saw us on the Jumbotron, let us know!
We are all very excited about all of the changes and I will certainly keep you posted!

I am curious if any of you out there were able to get your hands on one of the 500 copies of ALL GONE BOOK. I'd like to hear what your thoughts are.
All Gone is a self proclaimed "bible for the streetwise" that pays homage to 180 collectors products that launched during 2006 to include sneakers, designer toys, tees, skates and collectibles. From the pictures, it looks like a beautifully executed book featuring A bathing ape, Alife, Amos, Clot, Crooks & Castles, DC Shoes, Futura Laboratories, Huf, Ice Cream, Jordan, Medicom Toy, Nike, OriginalFake, Revolver, SBTG, Silly Thing, Supreme and Undefeated to name just a few.
And, it features original artwork from KAWS, Futura, Delta, Michael Lau and James Jarvis.
All 500 copies are gone! Please let me know if you scored one... I'm jealous.
If your going to bring "Sexy Back" you certainly can't do it with a hairy back. There has been a lot of talk about the ManGroomer's patented design and how inventive it is but after seeing this YouTube video, I think it has a long way to go.
[Warning: This Video is Funny]
As you see from the video, because of the back's natural contour, the shaver wants to travel the same route which appears to irritate the skin. In addition, similar to shaving your face, you will get stubble within a day making it necessary to either perform the process everyday or go around with a "I shaved my back the other day" billboard on your back side.
Personally, I recommend waxing (by a licensed professional) if you want to remove the hair back there. I know, I know, it sounds painful but as a trained professional, I can tell you that it's not nearly as painful as you are probably imagining and to top it off, it only needs to be done about every 3-6 weeks.
Elsewares.com has these nifty Street Sign Coasters that your guests will go wild for. These stylish coasters are independently handmade from salvaged American street signs and carefully finished and sealed by hand.
My name is Amy and I am a product-aholic. I have will buy and try practically every health and beauty product that
comes to market. At the end of last summer I was on an "oral care binge" and I found myself uncontrollably buying every brand and flavor of toothpaste available. I'll admit, I got a little caught up in the Breath Palette brand which offers a huge array of flavors with everything from Indo Curry to Pumpkin Pudding but when it comes down to it, I brush my teeth for a clean feeling mouth, not to satisfy my food cravings. So what's my ultimate toothpaste you ask? Well, that would be Marvis Toothpaste. Imported from Italy, this toothpaste is a long-time European favorite that provides all of the dental hygiene, tooth and gum care you need with delicious flavor. My personal favorite is the Aquatic Mint but the Ginger Mint packs a pretty powerful cleansing punch as well. Really, there isn't a flavor I didn't like…. Alright…. yes, I did try them all.

Beards are the fastest growing hair. If the average man never trimmed his beard, it could grow to 30 feet over the course of his lifetime.
Body Worlds 2, The Anatomical Exhibition of Real Human Bodies, is currently at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. The Body Worlds exhibitions are first-of-their-kind exhibitions through which visitors learn about anatomy, physiology, and health by viewing real human bodies, using an extraordinary process called Plastination a groundbreaking method for specimen preservation invented by Dr. von Hagens in 1977. BODY WORLDS 2 features more than 200 real human specimens, including whole-body plastinates, individual organs, organ configurations and transparent body slices. The exhibition also allow visitors to see and better understand the long-term impact of diseases, the effects of tobacco consumption and the mechanics of artificial supports such as knees and hips. To date, more than 20 million people around the world have viewed the BODY WORLDS exhibits.
Not only do you learn all kinds of stuff about the body you live in everyday, its pretty cool.

Growing up in St. Louis, I had the music of Chicago and Detriot filter downed to me threw friends older siblings. I was a teenager in the late nineties, when electronic music was most popular in the US. I lived on the outskirts of the rich neighborhood, nestled in between the culture clash of poor white folks and poor ethnic minorities. Even though I was heavy into punk culture I still had the neighborhood influence of rap and hip hop. Spilling into this influence was ghetto-tech, techno music with the urban feel and themes. Today, I want to acknowledge the loss of one of legends of this form of music... Disco D.
Basically, Disco D is a man who accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. He realeased records and had dj residencies in clubs before he was even 18 years old, he went on to recording music for hip-hop and R&B acts like Trick Daddy, Spank Rock, Nina sky and Lil' Flip.
Heres a link to Urb Magazine blog that goes a little more in depth: HERE .... markus g
there are those times where every blog you read is blogging about the same thing. Take that iphone for example. I hate to be one of those bloggers especially on my introductory post but here it is any way. This year's coachella.
Coachella is the music fest that kicks off all other music fest. It pretty much has all the acts that were the big buzz last year and all the acts people will be talking about this year. It also has mostly something for everyone. If you can afford the tickets, the airfare, the hotel, the food then do it. If not just write down the names of the flyer search myspace music or amazon or itunes and keep your eyes open in your local venues. These are the bands worth mentioning this year. Also check it out, Rage against the machine, jesus and mary chain, ghostface....
